What happened to the quality of BareMinerals?Compact crumbled and broke the last 2 x that I ordered it.Very sad as product works great! I’ll try from another store next time. We will see if it breaks and crumbles I’ll sadly be done w BAREMINERALS!

Sponge applicator quality not same
This is the second time I have ordered Bare Essentials compact. First time I ordered it came with a full size sponge applicator. The one I just received came with a much smaller, thinner sponge applicator with the edge cut off. Amazon offered to replace if I mailed back the original but couldn’t guarantee that the applicator would be different. I did call phone number for Bare Essentials to see if there had been a change in what type of applicator comes with the compact and customer service representative stated that they couldn’t vouch for any Bare Essentials compact sold on Amazon. She recommended buying directly from them or an Ulta beauty supplier which I will probably do in the future. For $42 a compact applicator sponge should be a standard size and better quality.

For anyone who has oil skin use this!!!
Bare minerals is a great brand to use all around, but this foundation in particular has been amazing on my skin. I have oil skin and acne problems. Every brand of foundation made my skin break out worse. I can not use anything from CVS or other products sold at Ulta beauty. Bare pro skin perfect foundation keeps a long lasting shin on your skin and does not clog your pours. Highly recommend trying this foundation pallet out if your someone who struggles with finding a foundation that wont make your acne worse!

I’m absolutely OBSESSED with how this pulls together my makeup. I usually use regular foundation and add this on top and it makes it look like my skin is made out of SILK. Literally a real life snap filter – trust me YOU NEED IT 😭

Love this product!
I’ve been using BareMinerals Barepro 16 hr Skin Perfecting Powder Foundation for one year now. I love how light it feels on your skin, does not feel heavy or sticky at all. It goes on smooth and gives great coverage. The days I am more active I may have to touch up once but for the most part it lasts all day.

Disappointment
I have used this product for years and like it enough to continue with it. This is the first time this bare minerals foundation disappointed me. Not sure if this particular one compact was defective…the powder broke apart. Instead of tossing it, I poured the broken powder on a piece of tissue and continued using it.

This is perfect foundation for me, very light and sheer
I love that you can match your skintone so closely with this brand. I got the girls at my local Sephora to match my color and when they didn’t have any of my color on hand I had to come to Amazon, but it’s a better price here. I love that this product has the reputation of being good for your skin. I’m not positive because I don’t wear makeup often but so far it has not done anything negative, no breakouts or irritation or anything.

Great Coverage!
Stays on all day and doesn’t cake at all! I use my regular spf/sunscreen combo under the powder and the finish on the lotion is a bit shiny. Once I apply the product the finish is satin. I tried it without any base and the finish is more matte that way. I am 33 years old and find that most foundations cake on my combo skin, even the Laura Geller baked foundation, which had great reviews. Love this powder!

Must have for me
Bare Minerals has been my foundation for at least 25 years ! I’m 61 and started using it the first time it came on a shopping channel. I never want to use any other foundation. I started with the loose powder form and switched to the compact when it came out. I love both but now prefer the compact.

This is the makeup I have used for years and years. Suddenly, at the end of 2023, I wasn’t able to get my shade in any form. I tried for months to figure out what happened, and finally reached a lady at Bare Minerals that told me they had changed the names of most products, but the colors were the same. She even emailed me a picture of the comparison chart! Needless to say, I have both the compact and liquid versions on Subscribe and Save and will stockpile it if necessary. Great project!!

Best cosmetics
I’ve used Bare Minerals/Escentuals for over 20 years. Safe, natural ‘ excellent coverage, large variety of colors for all skin tones . I prefer to apply this foundation with a brush instead of the tiny foam cosmetic sponge. Sponge application is too thick. Use a brush. You can always re-apply for more coverage. And you’ll have better control of the amount . The sponge picks up way too much product . Also, this company has the best brushes. I still have some over 20 years old and in perfect shape.

Perfect conditions
The product got here in pristine conditions.I once ordered this compact foundation from Sephora and it arrived all crushed and broken.I would have expected a little more care in the packaging from them.But what I’ve experienced and hear from other friends of mine is that this compact breaks really easily, even inside the package in which it comes.So it’s like a wild guess to order it online.But over all,I’m really satisfied with the purchase of this product.

Love this!
I have used bare minerals for about 20 years but had always used the loose powder foundation, this compact is a game changer. It has buildable coverage so that you can use a light dusting or have full coverage. I never feel like I’m wearing makeup. Another great thing is that it is not nearly as messy as the loose powder but full disclosure, I do not use the sponge applicator that is included in the compact. I find it works better using a foundation brush. I barely tap the brush on the pressed powder and then dab over my face and blend out with the brush. Fantastic product, I hope they continue to make this forever.

Goes on so easy, no issues with pilling or filling in pores. Medium coverage. Wasn’t broken upon arrival which was a relief. So thank you to whoever packaged and handled it with care! Color was a great match for me. When I opened it (I purchased Fair Warm 10) I was a little worried because it looked pink, but I need a yellow undertone. It actually was more yellow on the skin, so not sure how that works, but it was great! It lasts most of the day, I notice a bit more of a shine towards the end of the day, but I’m not too oily so it’s fine for me.

Hands down, the best
Hey All!I have extremely sensitive skin, and I have tried all kinds of foundation from the cheapest to the most expensive and everything has clogged my pores and made me break until I found Bare Minerals years ago. I have been using this brand, and their powder version for over 10 years now and I will never go back to using anything else. I have combination skin and as the day goes on I tend to get very oily. This 16hr pro is the only thing that last all day for me. I couldn’t recommend ANYTHING from this brand enough to anyone! Hope it works for you all!

This is really good powder it goes on really well and leaves a nice matte but glowing look. I took one star off because you barely get any product for the money so it’s a rip off. After about 10 uses I can already see the bottom of the pan.

AWESOME
I have looked a LONG time for a powder foundation with a PINK undertone. I finally found it with “Bareminerals BarePro”.The photo shows two shades with a pink undertone: ‘Light Cool 20’ is the darker tone on the left, and ‘Fair 15 Cool’ is the shade in the middle, a bit lighter.The powder foundation on the right is Maybelline’s ‘Superstay Better Skin Skin’ in ‘Ivory 20’, a neutral shade. This shade looks beige on me. 😒 It has long since been discontinued.I was a bit disappointed in the ‘Fair Cool 15’ shade, because it’s more of a neutral undertone, rather than a pink. The ‘Light Cool 20’ is a true pink undertone, and to be cherished. On me, it tends to look a bit too dark.I did NOT notice either shade oxidizing (turning darker once applied).The only issue I have with this foundation is that it is extremely matte, and seems to draw the moisture right out of my skin.😵💫 And it looks too dry as I wear it. I even put argan oil under my moisturizer and have for years. Even then, it looks and feels way too matte and dry.I am a Baby Boomer who at this point in life has to deal with dryer skin. You younger ones out there, may not have this problem. 😙So, the bottom line is, it’s a great product, covers perfectly, actually has PINK undertones, and is worth your consideration. 💄📿👠😊
