- Our mission at Bison Paddles is to provide stylish, high-quality pickleball equipment that won’t break the bank. We started playing Pickleball in 2020 during the pandemic and quickly fell in love. When we went to purchase our own paddles, we found that you could either get a cheap set that would quickly fall apart, or spend hundreds of dollars on a decent paddle. We knew that there had to be a better solution, and Bison Paddles was born.

About this item Premium Paddle Without The Price Tag: The Summit features the same technology found in pickleball equipment that costs over twice as much. You don’t need to break the bank to get an advanced pickleball paddle with all the latest features. Maximum Pickle Ball Spin: The Toray T700 raw carbon surface featured on the Summit is extremely gritty and allows pickleball players to put extreme amounts of spin on the ball. This texture is a natural feature of the T700 surface and lasts much longer than other spray-on grit types as a result. Extended Reach On The Court: Standing at 16.5 inches tall, this paddle provides extra length and can help give players an edge when chasing hard-to-reach shots. The 5.5-inch long grip is also great for 2-handed backhands. Power and Control Hybrid: The hybrid thickness of the 14mm polymer honeycomb core provides players with the perfect blend of power and control. This core is perfect for pickleball players who want some extra power on their shots without sacrificing ball control. Durable Construction: Built to last, both paddles featured in the pro carbon line feature a durable sheet of Toray carbon fiber from top to bottom. You can trust that your Bison Paddle will hold up game after game, season after season.

Best Starting Paddle
I bought this paddle (summit) when I first started to learn pickleball last year and still use it now. For the price it cannot be beat. I have friends using paddles $100+, and the playstyle of this paddle feels very similar to theirs. On thepickleballstudio’s website they have both rampage and summit paddles listed pretty high in terms of RPM produced. IMO if you’re just learning to play pickleball, and you believe it’s a hobby you will continue, then you will need to spend at least $80 for a decent paddle. Bison’s starting prices for their paddle quality can not be beat. Bison uses a lot of the same materials that the popular brands are using. Just figure out which you would like (summit or rampage)!

Best you can buy!!!
These are the best paddles you can buy, for the best price. The grip is high quality, comfortable, and light weight. I’ll say it again- they don’t make paddles better than these. Not to mention the sleek design. You’ll be the envy of the court!

Beginners Dream
This paddle is a game-changer, especially for those venturing into the sport for the first time. The very first aspect that catches attention is its construction. Crafted with carbon fiber, it ensures durability and a lightweight feel, essential for swift movements and long play sessions. The choice of an elongated paddle shape is a stroke of genius, catering to players transitioning from tennis, making the switch to pickleball more intuitive and less daunting.Performance-wise, the paddle excels in providing maximum ball spin. This feature is a boon for players who love adding a bit of flair and control to their shots. The spin capability also adds a tactical advantage, allowing players to outmaneuver opponents with deceptive spins.Another commendable feature is the 16mm Polymer Core. This core is not just about strength; it’s about responsiveness. When you strike the ball, the paddle responds with precision, giving players a great sense of control and feedback. The USA Pickleball Approval stamp is like a cherry on top. This endorsement assures players of the paddle’s quality and adherence to competitive standards, making it a reliable choice for both casual and competitive play.In summary, the Rampage is an exceptional choice for beginners and tennis converts.

Good paddle.
Very light weight for it’s size. I think mine weighted 7.6 oz.Thin grip, would want to add a thicker one because I have tennis elbow.I would say it is not super powerful. But what you are getting is unique as far as I know. A light yet long paddle. It has a decent sweet spot, twisted pretty easy but I enjoy the reach. May want to add some lead tape at the 4 and 8.

Bison Carbon Fiber Paddles
I have been using the Summit and Rampage for a while. They are excellent paddles for the value. I have used more expensive paddles from other companies and really do not see a difference in performance. I have finished 1st, 3rd and 2nd in my last three tournaments using the Bison Paddles. As a PPR certified coach, i out these paddles in the hands of my clients quite often. The Summit gives them great power and spin. The longer grip really enhances their ability for two-handed backhand shots and the ability to switch hands during play. The Rampage, with its 16mm face provides amazing spin and control. Those with smaller hands find the Rampage to be a real weapon. You will not be disappointed going with Bison Paddles!!

Five star paddle
This paddle has great control without lacking any power. It took no time to get comfortable playing with it. It’s lightweight and easy to play with. It really helps with adding spin and never misses. Consistency when playing with this paddle is a major plus. The biggest plus is that I did not break the bank for such a high quality product. I highly recommend.

Lightweight but twists easily
Lovely paddle with great aesthetics. Spin is fair, not spectacular, Control when you hit the sweet spot is excellent, Power is a lacking. I have played with the paddle for a little bit now and these were my thoughts.Swing weight is probably around 110. Fast…Very light-headed. This caused twisting. I initially added 3 gm X2 on the 9 and 3 O’clock position because off center hits were brutal. Still not satisfied, I added 3gm each on the 1 and 11 O’clock position. It did improve the power quite a bit and a little bit more on off center shot twisting, but not quite enough. The swing weight did slow down but it was just right for me.I think it’s a great paddle if you are a beginner to intermediate, but know that if you have to hit hard or get an off center shot, this will twist (lead tape do help). Newer paddles has foam edges, more gritty for spin and has significantly more power. For the price and knowing that there are a lot of competitions right now, it could be better.Still recommended for certain players.

Add some english to your game!
I started playing Pickleball a few months ago and was instantly hooked. I am a school teacher and found out one of my old students is now a professional, ranked somewhere in the top 100 worldwide. He came out and gave some pointed on how to improve the game. He let me use one of his paddles that had the carbon fiber face on it that gave the ball some extra spin. His paddle was close to $200 and I was not in the market for spend that much. I choose the Rampage-Bison Paddles: Carbon Fiber Pickleball Paddle. Priced at around $100 dollars I was willing to pay for the increased control of my game. I have used it now for a little over a month and I am extremely happy with it. It has the perfect balance of pop and control for me to maintain control of the ball and make it harder for my opponent(s) to counter. I can add or counter almost any amount of spin put on the ball against me as well. This is a great paddle for anyone from professional to beginner, enjoy!

Good quality, a little too light out of the box
This is a nice paddle. The one I received was only 7.7oz so I needed to add a good bit of tape to get it up to the 8.5oz that I like. 7.7 is pretty light and felt pretty weak. Good build quality overall. There’s only one or two manufacturers that make the honeycomb cores for all paddles so you aren’t really gaining much from going more expensive than this one

Solid paddle
Bought the summit and rampage paddle for my and my girlfriend to play with and we are both very happy with both. Used for about 2 months and using both paddles to play with to get a feel of the differences. We both just picked up the sport and dont have much experience with other paddles but for the the price and quality of bison paddles we are very happy with the result. I personally do use and prefer the summit paddle more as I am a more aggressive player. As a newer player I did find that when i didnt hit in the sweet spot of the paddle, I would have a terrible mishit and towards the base of the paddle felt like a dead spot. But when hitting correctly, youll hit a great shot. I did add lead weights to help and it definitely helped widen the sweet spot and made shots more forgiving. At the same time it gave even more power and pop to my shots. On defense though I did have to learn to control how much force to use to get the ball back into the kitchen because it can easily give the opponent an easy spike. Playing with the rampage is much easier for an all around game that still has good power. Sweet spot is wide, drop shots are easier to hit, easier to defend spikes and definitely still packs a punch. The carbon fiber is holding up very well and gives tons of spin to my shots. I do use a carbon fiber cleaner but still works great without it. Overall very happy with the paddles and dont regret buy these over another brand.
