Feels nice but does not dry
This product feels nice and luxurious on my skin. The texture is soft and smooth. I like that I can build for better coverage. The only drawback is that it sits on my skin all day and doesn’t ever dry so if I need to wipe my face or skin for whatever reason the product simply comes off.

Way too much pigment for a normal dose
if you’re just wearing 1 or 2 pumps worth, the pigment is great as a BB cream. The only problem is, in order to get full sun protection, you have to wear 3-4 pumps and it’s just way too much pigment.Make the pigment amount match the proper sun protection dose!

Oily for a mineral sunblock
Product is good but you can’t forget to shake it well before using it because it’s very oily. The oil seems to separate so the first squirt is just oil when not shaken.

No coverage
I wanted to like this product because I was able to purchase it with my FSA but there’s no coverage and it has a silicone field so it spreads nice. There is no coverage even for being a tinted moisturizer/CC cream.

Doesn’t Protect
I’m so bummed out. This felt good on my face, but I put it on and then went on a half hour walk in mostly sun a little while later and my face is burned=( I’m not like a super quick burner but SPF 50 should have protected me from that. Doesn’t work if that’s the point of a BB cream!

Great Look and Protection, but Caused Breakouts
We purchased this before a trip to Florida to protect my teenage son’s face from the sun. He’s dealt with severe acne that has finally cleared up, but still has a ton of hyperpigmentation, and we didn’t want to make it worse with the sun. He wanted a tinted moisturizer type product so it didn’t turn his face white, and the sheer tint looked great and actually evened out his skin tone quite a bit. He absolutely loved the way this product felt on his skin (silky), and it had a very natural “just like skin, but better” appearance. Unfortunately something in this product caused him to break out again. By the end of our week in Florida, his pores were super clogged again and he had new breakouts popping up all over his face. As soon as he stopped using this, his skin cleared up again. I have a hunch that he reacted to the dimethicone in the product, and since there are multiple dimethicone variations in it, that explains the extreme reaction. My son has very sensitive skin, so while this product didn’t work for him, I could see it being a fabulous product for others with less sensitivities. It offered really great sun protection, his face didn’t burn once, and it was easy to layer and reapply with no pilling or cakey look. All in all, I’d say it’s a wonderful product, just not for super acne prone people with potential dimethicone sensitivities.

Stays ON skin, great color & protection
So I LOVE this product, its smooth texture, color and protection, and most of all, the brand itself. BUT – know that when you apply it, it will NOT absorb fully into your skin. It definitely sits on top, so if you’re thinking of using it as a base for your foundation, you won’t get your normal results. There’s a slick, smooth feel to its texture which I like, BUT – the fact that it doesn’t absorb fully into the skin means that you need to give it a lot more time before adding onto it with powder, etc, if that’s your plan, and that throughout the day, if you wipe or scratch an area of your face, you’ll notice you also wipe that area of the product. Still – I will continue to buy it for the protection and the lovely even tone it provides.

I’ve tried them all and this one’s the best
The amount of sunblock that one needs to put on their face to make it be effective far exceeds the amount of tinted moisturizer or foundation one would ever put on their face. It would just be a mess. Or at least that’s been my finding with the dozens of tinted SPFs I’ve tried over the years at any price point in a number of countries.That having been said… This one’s the closest I found to being able to do that on my rosy fair complexion. I tend to put on layers of face SPF in the morning. I will use a light moisturizer followed by a supergoop or LRP SPF 50+, let that sink in and then come back with this and use it as my face makeup with a little bit of under eye concealer If I’m going into the office or have social plans. If I don’t have any place to be I’ll just mix it 50/50 with one of the above mentioned sunblocks.It’s pretty good at being transfer resistant. It doesn’t act weird when it gets wet. It’s not hard to take off at the end of the day. And it seems to stain the collars of my shirts less than a lot of other options. If your skin is dry or scaly it will sit on top and look weird but I think that’s true with any texture issues and most products.Oh and it’s FSA eligible

Sunscreen
I made this purchase based off a dermatologist recommendation. It was said to be good for sensitive skin and even skin tone. It did even skin tone but it caused me irration, did not absorb and I can feel it sitting on my skin. Which after a while become uncomfortable. This company has something but would need to work out the kinks in order to have gold in a tube.

Nice sunscreen but the tube clogged
This is an effective sunscreen and also gives good coverage over flawed (old) skin. The BIG problem is that it clogged after just a few uses and no matter what I did, nothing more would come out. Unfortunately it cannot be unscrewed. So I ended up cutting the bottom of the tube and squeezing all of it into a small travel container. I don’t believe I will order it again for this reason.

Slippery feeling
Was kind of disappointed on this one. Was expecting more tint but it didn’t really stay or cover much. The finish is a mouse like feeling and had to use setting powder for it to feel normal on my face. It’s okay. I’ll use it as a sun screen but wasn’t what I was hoping for.

Adds color but does NOT protect from the sun. Beware.
I bought this sunscreen because I’m a huge fan of MD Solar Sciences. I use their SPF 50 Mineral Creme. I thought this might work to add a little color to my face, since it’s tinted. I’ll say that yes, it goes on smoothly and isn’t sticky. It also adds a light color, so I don’t look as white as I do without anything on my face. However, sadly, it DOES NOT PROVIDE SUN PROTECTION. I can not stress this enough. I wore it outside, under a baseball hat, and faithfully reapplied every two hours. My face is as red as a tomato, except for my forehead where my hat was. This is NOT a sunscreen. It’s a tinted moisturizer. Unfortunately, I now have to live with a burned face and the skin damage that comes with it.

Solar mess
This spf is nice in concept with high spf content and the shade seems ok, but that’s about it.It literally gets in EVERYTHING! Don’t wear any collars or necklines close to application. The number one job of sunscreen protection is to wear it everyday, so the color transfer means, you will not properly apply it or wear it everyday.The formula needs some work because it’s very heavy and cakey on the skin. I felt like I was wearing a cream mask and full coverage foundation. I have dry skin.I actually had to wash this off and start over so this one is a pass.

Effective sunscreen
This is one of the best tinted sunscreens I have ever used. It is a creamy consistency like you would expect in a BB cream, spreads easily, but is a little sticky when it first goes on, but does dry in a few minutes. Seems to work well as a sunscreen. My biggest complaint is that there are no color choices, it only comes in one shade.

Blends into skin perfectly

Too Dark, lacks inclusiveness
I figured this would not work for my complexion when I saw the limited amount of shades, but really wanted to try this out. Sure enough, it was like I was giving my face a tan. It feels really nice and I lie that it is mostly fragrance-free. However, I will have to wait for my Summer color to try it again.

It’s a no from me
If I cake it on, I can get the coverage I want. I like the look and effect on skin that it gives, however, I agree with everyone that is mentioning that it has an extremely silicony feel. The product doesn’t feel like it actually ever dries down. And if you try rubbing it in until it doessss feel dried down, there goes the coverage you were hoping to leave your skin with.I also don’t feel like it stays on your skin long. After a few hours, I can wipe my face with a dry tissue and it comes out clear like there’s nothing on my face.It’s a high end price for a low end product. I’d repurchase if it were in the 10-20 dollar range and I only had a short trip in the sun.3 out of 5 because I don’t hate it enough to throw it away but I don’t love it enough to recommend it to anyone.

Glides on sheer, velvety feel, and a matte finish
I’d been on a quest for a sheer matte sunscreen to replace the Coola Mineral Face Sunscreen Matte Tint as the Coola product was discontinued and the replacement (Coola Mineral Face Organic Sunscreen Lotion Sheer Matte, SPF 30) did not come even close to the original formula. I may have found it in this product. It glides on easily with a velvety feel yet the coverage is sheer. The matte finish minimizes shine (great for combination/oily skin). I prefer to apply this as a final step in my morning routine after first treatment essence, serum, and moisturizer. This MDSolarSciences formula does not cause breakouts and the SPF 50 provides adequate sun protection.
