I would order from chewy or directly from nutracomplete
My dogs love this food but it’s clearly expensive, so when I ordered it from Amazon and they came hard I was so disappointed. I have to literally smash them with a round candle lid just to make it soft enough for them to eat. I felt like I wasted my money on this bag and I really can’t afford to throw money down the toilet. So I’m going to order directly from the company since Amazon clearly holds too much of this product bagged up and making them stale. First time I ordered it from nutrapet and it stayed soft and fresh for a long time. Way more satisfying and then of course worth the purchase. So it’s a 5 ⭐️to nutracomplete and 1⭐️ to Amazon

My senior dog is eating again 🙏🏼💗
Yes, this product is expensive, but worth it’s weight in gold. My dog is 14 and 1/2 years old and I’ve been cooking for her for a few years. I slow cook a pot roast, and slow cook chicken thighs, I add carrots and potatoes, and on the side I make brown rice, and gravy. She also eats a high quality dry food that’s available to her at all times. In the past few months my dog started eating less and less, regardless of how good the food was that I cooked. I tried changing up the recipes that I made for her, using ground beef and ground turkey (pictured above-a labor of love). Nothing was working (she wouldn’t eat any of the farm fresh packaged dog food either) and she started losing weight. My 35 lb dog, is now 31 lbs. When I realized that the only thing she loved eating was her daily freeze-dried vitamins, I began my search for freeze-dried dog food, and I came across Ultimate Pet Nutrition. I was hesitant to purchase it because of the price, but I was running out of options so I ordered a 1 lb bag to try. My senior girl absolutely loves it and cleans her bowl out every time I feed her. I know that she’s getting all the nutrition she needs, and she will begin to gain weight again, so at this point the price is irrelevant to me, I am now a 3 lb a month subscriber. I called the company directly to ask a few questions, specifically if I can use it as a meal versus just a topper. They explained that it’s a rich and dense in nutrition, and may cause bathroom problems in the beginning. For that reason, they recommend slowly integrating the food into your dog’s diet (mixing it with their current food). If I could give this dog food 10 Stars I would ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

A perfect early-morning breakfast food for my 12-pound mix-chihuahua. Nutritious!
I buy the premium chicken. A perfect early morning “breakfast food” for my 12-pound mix-chihuahua. Nutritious—read what all is in it!! I NEVER feed them dry: I pour about 1/3 cup into his little bowl, pour cool drinking water just to cover the little dry cubes, let them get fairly wet, but NOT soppy-soggy. Then I drain out the water, and feed to my little 7-year-old furry friend; call it “doggie cereal” LOL . . . actually he MUCH prefers it when I hand-feed the little wet cubes to him, two or three in my hand at a time. Then his reward is his favorite freeze-dried chicken-heart treat (his “bacon”). This all really fills him up for several hours. These can also be ordeuvres if your little furry friend just needs a little something in his/her tummy. But again, I don’t try to feed them DRY; that does NOT work for my pet.

Picky GSD Loved this food
Loved it. Gobbled it all up. Easy to prepare and feed. No bad side effects or anything like that, if you you know what I mean. Also perfect for filling up KONG toys and the like. Just rehydrate and fill. It’s pricey, and very small bags. But you get what you pay for here. This is high quality raw food. Much better for your baby than commercial dog food, in my opinion. I feed fresh raw daily to my dog. Although I love to incorporate a high quality prepared food like this one, for treat toys and licky mats and as a topper to meals.Highly recommend if it’s in your budget. Even if it’s not fed every day, and maybe just intermittently.

Quality seems to vary
My very small senior dog (5 pound Chihuahua mix) is very picky about food. I constantly am on the hunt for something she will eat for more than a couple of weeks. I found this food on Amazon this week and ordered the 5-ounce package of chicken flavor. She absolutely loved it. In fact I don’t know how I could keep her to the three-quarter cup per day that she’s supposed to eat. But being very small with a very small mouth, jaw and teeth she had trouble chewing the cubes as they come even though they’re spongy. So I cut them in half, which wasn’t a big deal to do, and she was fine. She gobbled them down. Since she seems to like it so much, I ordered the 1-pound bag which arrived today. I didn’t want to jump right to the 3-pound because who knows, she could change her mind in a few days and not like it anymore and it’s VERY expensive. The 1-pound bag arrived today and I poured some of it out so I could cut the cubes in half and found the quality varies widely. Many or most of the cubes in the 1 pound bag are smaller and darker in color and harder than the fluffy ones in the 5-ounce bag and they’re hard to cut in half because they shatter into crumbs. Apparently they’re over dried. So right now I’m kind of on the fence whether I’m going to continue buying this product. I’ll go through the 1-pound bag and see if the whole bag is like that in which case I will not buy it anymore. Maybe just some of the ones that happened to be on the top of the bag that I started today are over dried ? Anyway, I’ll update this when I have a little more experience with the product.

Our Maltipoo Loves This Food!
We have a very picky eater who doesn’t seem to like wet food, nor kibble. He does enjoy Nutra Complete. Often times I put it in one of his treat dispensing toys. He works hard at playing and getting it out. I like the fact that it is very nutritional and we have had no dietary problems. It is very convenient to use.

First dog food my dog will eat
I’m happy my dog will eat this dog food! My toy poodle is 18 mos. old and I’ve tried all the top veterinarian made healthy dog food brands. From this brand I’ve bought the Nutra Blend (chicken and duck flavored) freeze dried. While I’m excited he will finally eat dog food, I feel for only a 16 oz. bag cost of $38, it’s way too expensive. If my dog wasn’t so small there’s no way I could afford it. He doesn’t eat a lot, but I still don’t know that I will continue to buy it, due to the high price. I’d be so happy if the price dropped!

Trying to switch over a 3lb, 9yr old yorkie with few teeth, from wet food, and no chicken. I ordered this since i can crumble it (she does not like it soaked). She loved it. I ordered the pork. I’m in the process of changing her over gradually. I crumble it over her wet food each day, adding less wet food and more freeze dried pork about every 3 days….She doesn’t like change, but she is coming along fine. I haven’t noticed any itching, and upset tummy. I like the texture, the ease of use, and I could find a product with no Chicken! I would recommend this food.

My Three Dogs LOVE THIS
Well, I have not tasted it myself, BUT, my three small dogs absolutely LOVE THIS FOOD. I wish I could afford to feed it as a complete meal for them, but on my limited income, it must remain a top dressing to their regular Blue Buffalo dry pellets. Of course, Amazon is where I purchase both foods.My intent today is to buy beef and chicken versions of Nutra Complete, but this review screen popped up. If any other dog owner is wondering how it will play in their home, believe me it will be highly popular.My trio of pups includes a small older dachshund and a brother/sister pair of Cairn terriers. My boy Cairn has pancreatitis, and until his diagnosis, I could not find anything he would happily eat. Now after trying Science Diet, which he did not eat willingly, this really turned him into an eager eater. I still watch his diet, but the Nutra Complete is willingly and happily consumed every time. I feed them twice a day, and this is the part of the meal they all love.As long as I can afford it, I plan to keep buying it…….
